Ambulatory & In-Clinic Portable

Fits in the same pocket as your lab coat or scrub top. Solves the heavy cart or clunky laptop dilemma for equine farm calls and eliminates the trip hazard ultrasound carts present in vet treatment areas.

Unmatched Near-Field Clarity

High-density arrays (256 physical elements) capture soft tissue structures (tendons, ligaments) in crisp high resolution for accurate fiber mapping.

Voice Activated Commands & Measurements

Utilize hands-free voice commands for common tasks, including saving images, opening menus, changing frequency and contrast, and measuring pathology.

Veterinary Calibrated

Primarily optimized for equine medicine, and translates seamlessly into bovine reproduction, emergency triage, and mixed-practice workflows.

Engineered for Veterinary Workflows

Ambulatory calls can be tough, dusty, and high-glare. Our devices are built to withstand real-world field conditions.

Soft Tissue Focus

Equine vets excel at scanning tendons and ligaments where getting an MRI is unfeasible. Our 256-element arrays are calibrated for pristine soft tissue definition.

Water-Resistant O-Rings

Rugged O-ring gaskets protect the chassis against splashes, moisture, and clinical cleaning wipes during tough farm calls. Easy to disinfect without submersion.nn

Instant Diagnostic Feedback

With zero boot-up delays, practitioners are able to open a tablet or smartphone and scan instantly. High speed direct streaming ensures lag-free review.

Veterinary Practice Applications

Handheld Broadband Linear

E3031 Linear Probe

Wireless High-Frequency Musculoskeletal & Soft Tissue Specialist

The E3031 Portable Ultrasound with Linear Probe is engineered for high-frequency imaging in the field or hospital. By utilizing a solid-state silicon chip-on-sensor array rather than traditional crystals, the transducer is highly durable and produces clear, high-resolution scans. It features 256 physical elements on a single solid-state substrate to deliver crisp near-field clinical clarity. It is ideal for mapping equine superficial digital flexor tendons (SDFT), suspensory ligaments, and assisting with ultrasound-guided joint injections.

The Diagnostic Problem

Soft tissue injuries, tendon tears, and ligament micro-strains.

When You Notice It

Localized heat, filling or swelling in the lower leg (bowed appearance), or slight head bobbing during exercise or after a heavy jump round.

How This Probe Helps (Benefits First)

Maps tendon fibers in pristine, high-density resolution. Instantly shows you fiber alignment, fluid pocket boundaries, and lesion severity right in the stall or treatment clinic so you can make informed layup and rehab decisions without delay.

Handheld Broadband Linear

E3031 Convex Probe

Deep Abdominal, Visceral, Lung Scans & Colic Powerhouse

The E3031 Compact Ultrasound with Convex Probe is built for reliable, deep diagnostic imaging. It uses a 256-element solid-state silicon sensor chip instead of fragile traditional crystals, providing excellent durability under rough hospital or farm conditions. It is ideal for deep transabdominal scanning in adult equine colic evaluations, equine lung scans, cattle reproduction diagnostics, and mixed-practice abdominal triage.

The Diagnostic Problem

Acute colic, gastrointestinal blockages, lung scans & thoracic checks, abdominal pain, and visceral organ checks.

When You Notice It

Pawing, rolling, sweating, looking at the flank, respiratory distress, or showing abdominal discomfort.

How This Probe Helps (Benefits First)

Provides deep acoustic penetration up to 30 cm, giving you a powerful transabdominal window (equine FLASH protocol) to evaluate small intestine distension, lung scans, gastric reflux, or kidney-splenic space entrapment instantly in the paddock or clinic, letting you make quick referral decisions.

E3031 Linear-Rectal Probe

Ambulatory Reproductive & Follicle Tracking Powerhouse

Specifically designed for the fast-paced workflow of equine and bovine reproductive examinations. The E3031 with Linear-Rectal Probe combines a specialized ultra-slim rectal array with tactile controls on a rugged straight walled cable. By utilizing a 256-element solid-state silicon chip sensor instead of fragile crystals, it delivers high axial resolution and excellent durability for routine follicle tracking, early pregnancy detection, and fetal sexing.

The Diagnostic Problem

Infertility, ovulation synchronization, fetal checks, and follicle tracking.

When You Notice It

Irregular heat cycles, failure to settle after breeding, or pre-breeding cycle planning.

How This Probe Helps (Benefits First)

Speeds up ovulation monitoring and fetal sexing. Offers crystal-clear reproductive imaging as early as Day 14. With physical tactile buttons on the probe controller, you can freeze, measure, and save images blindly without touching screen glass with dirty gloves.

Frequently Asked Questions

Technical clarity, device handling, and scanning performance guidelines curated for equine and general veterinary practitioners.

Our probes are engineered with sealed O-rings and are water-resistant to protect against accidental fluid splashes and clinical cleaning wipes. While every precaution is built into the unit to withstand tough stable environments, they are water-resistant rather than waterproof; therefore, neither the handheld controller nor the transducer heads should ever be submerged in liquids. Wipe off the acoustic gel with a soft, lint-free cloth, and clean with running water or mild non-abrasive soap. For disinfection, we recommend spraying or wiping with 70% Isopropyl Alcohol or utilizing veterinary-grade wipes such as CaviWipes or Sani-Cloth. Never autoclave or subject the devices to high-temperature sterilization.
Precision Veterinary Products are engineered with clinical-grade, shock-absorbing polycarbonate shells. The solid-state acoustic crystal assembly is floating-mounted inside silicone dampers. This allows the probe to survive accidental drops from up to 1.5 meters (5 feet) directly onto hard barn floors without loss of alignment or element dropout. All devices include our standard 2-year ambulatory damage warranty.

The PVP Core Wireless Micro-Convex scanner operates on a broad-spectrum 3.0 – 8.0 MHz frequency range. At lower frequencies (3.0 – 4.5 MHz), it achieves an impressive maximum imaging depth of 30 cm, crucial for deep equine transabdominal colic evaluation, renal tracking, and bovine uterine positioning. Dynamic gain and automatic focal zone tracking ensure clean images even at maximum penetration.

Yes, our Wired Handheld Linear probe operates at an ultra-high 10.0 – 18.0 MHz range with 256 physical crystals. This delivers high-density axial and lateral resolution under 0.2 mm, making it exceptionally qualified for mapping equine superficial digital flexor tendons (SDFT), deep digital flexor tendons (DDFT), and accessory ligaments of the suspensory system.

The PVP Precision View app is fully compatible with iOS (iPadOS 15+ and iOS 15+), Android (v9.0+), and Windows 11. It utilizes a secure, ultra-fast point-to-point Wi-Fi 6 connection directly from the transducer to your device. No local cellular data or internet network is required in the stable; the probe operates as its own secure, encrypted hotspot.
Absolutely. The Precision View software includes native DICOM 3.0 conformance. This allows you to wirelessly send high-definition cine loops and single frame captures directly to your clinic’s local PACS server or cloud-based image storage. For mobile veterinarians, the app can store scans offline and auto-sync to your PMS (such as ezyVet, Covetrus, or Cornerstone) as soon as you connect to your clinic’s Wi-Fi.
